My name is Jarred Powell. Im the sports editor for my college newspaper... The Telescope. Now after the interview process I'm the sports editor for The Black Urban Times. I am originally born in Washington DC and raised in Maryland. I have always loved sports. My first love was baseball, but that quickly led to football, basketball, and all other sports as well. I have been a sports writer for a little over a year now and I have enjoyed every minute of it. My favorite teams are as follows: Georgetown (College Basketball) Miami (College Football) Redskins and Titans(NFL) METS (BASEBALL), SIXERS (NBA). I will bring you the most up to date topics in sports and in return hold me accountable because I am here to serve you...the people who read up on our site...Thanks and God Bless
