The Bronx Tourism Council recommends the Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Garden, Yankee Stadium, museums and restaurants. Community Board 2 suggests visitors meet residents involved in their borough’s transformation.
Founder Curtis Sliwa says he’s open to partnering with community leaders.
Sliwa, who’s also a radio host, concedes the area has improved dramatically. But he’s said visitors can still "get a flavor of what it was like."
