International Food Expenditures and How They Vary Vs The U.S.

In Colombia, a family of four must live off of $40
(US) a week and eat sparingly. Below I have a compiled list of different countries and what it takes to feed their families for one week compared to what it takes to feed a family in the United States for one week.
The differences vary widely. Take a look:
In the U.S.,The Revis (above, right) family of North Carolina's Food expenditure for one week = $341.98


In Ecuador, The Ayme Family (right)Food expenditure for a week = $31.55 (U.S.)










In Sudan, (Camp Breidjing, below) The Aboubakar familys food
expenditure for one week= $685 CFA Francs or $1.23US
