NBA Free Agency news continued

This is the latest news on NBA Free Agency so to speak. Kobe Bryant will sign a three year contract extension. This keeps him Los Angeles this year. The Lakers will resign Lamar Odom, which leaves less money to sign Trevor Ariza. The aren't budging to offer him any money so Ariza appears to be looking elsewhere. This would be bad for the Lakers when they consider that Ariza is their best perimeter defender outside of Kobe Bryant. The Detroit Pistons have made the first splash in free agency by signing Ben Gordon from the Chicago Bulls and Charlie Villenueva from the Milwaukee Bucks. Detroit by signing Gordon will solidify their backcourt and the signing of Villenueva signals the end of Rasheed Wallace run with the team. Wallace is being pursued by the San Antonio Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics with the Celtics being the early leader. The Knicks are looking into getting Jason Kidd which would be stupid because if it didn't work out for him with the Nets, its not even gonna be close with the Knicks. Allen Iverson may land into Charlotte. Lebron James has been courting Ron Artest to come to Cleveland after signing Shaq. Carlos Boozer and Paul Milsap are staying with Utah at least thru this season. Atlanta is looking at Andre Miller. That's the latest on NBA Free Agent picture.
