The former girlfriend of Governor Paterson's top aide, David Johnson, became so stressed out over the scandal that she has left the country, her brother told reporters yesterday.

Sherr-una Booker, 40, is the woman at the center of one of the scandals threatening to ruin Governor Paterson, who has been accused of attempting to cover-up the Halloween assault by having aides ask Booker to publicly deny the assault ever took place.

The Governor has vehemently denied doing any such thing.

A man describing himself as Booker's brother said, "She needed to get away from all this. She's on vacation. My sister had cancer. When she gets stressed out, she gets sick, and she was having a hard time."

During one of the hearings in Bronx Family Court, Booker complained that State Police were harassing her in order to get her to drop the charges against Johnson.

At a hearing scheduled for February 8, Booker failed to appear and it was later learned that she had spoken with Governor Paterson by telephone the day before.

"She's going to say the truth no matter what," Booker's brother said. "She'll never lie for anybody."

After he failure to appear, a judge dismissed the case.

On October 31, 2009, Booker filed a police report saying her live-in boyfriend, David Johnson, ripped off her Halloween costume, threw her against a dresser then began choking her. When she attempted to call police, he stopped her.

The couple were allegedly arguing over Booker's refusal to take off the sexy Halloween costume she was wearing. The assault took place in the Bronx apartment the couple shared.

In an earlier news story:
A photographer has surfaced with steamy photos he took of Sherr-una Booker when she was a 30-year-old single mother raising two children.

The photographer, Jonathan Dewayne Woods, met Booker in a grocery store in North Carolina and asked her if she would model for him. He described Booker as a "modest" model.

"She was just drop-dead gorgeous," said Woods. "She was what I call, 'street fine.' She wasn't made up like a model in Cosmopolitan magazine. She was the type who looked good all the time."

Woods paid Booker $100 for the impromptu photo shoot that took place in her living room.

"She was pretty conservative. She was a single mom taking care of her two kids and that's how she presented herself," said Woods, who expressed disgust towards Johnson (who stands at 6'7) at beating such a petite woman.
