The Fayetteville Observer has reported the alarming rate at which the Cumberland County Department of Social Services has lost a number of case workers during a time when numbers show a spike in cases of child abuse and neglect.
The article indicates that the more experience the case worker has, the more likely they are to leave the agency.Gone are the days of simply replacing a worker. It's tough to replace a seasoned veteran of the agency period, but even tougher to replace an experienced child abuse case worker.....full article
