NYPD has busted up what they call the city's largest illegal prescription-pill ring, Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes told the New York Post.

Police say Pinchas Goldshtein, 26, of Brooklyn, has been charged with buying tens of thousands of pills that included the stimulant Adderall and painkillers OxyContin and Percoset.

Goldshtein and wholesale dealers Miguel Medina, 45, of The Bronx, Evan Vaughn, 28, of Manhattan and Henry C. Fertik, 23, of Brooklyn were amongst those arrested Wednesday.

Hynes said the ring pushed approximately $1 million of the drugs per year, mainly to students and yuppies, throughout several boroughs across New York City.
