Former NJ Transit Worker Pleads Guilty

Conductor was earning $54,330 annually

Terance Campbell, a former assistant conductor with NJ Transit, pleaded guilty in state Superior Court Friday to stealing $3,500 from the agency.

Campbell, 34, of Rahway pled guilty to one court of theft by deception for failing to make required deposits of fares, one count of official misconduct and one count of a pattern of official misconduct.

Essex County Assistant Prosecutor Brandon Minde said the thefts occurred between January 2007 and September. Campbell was employed by NJTransit for seven years.....MORE
