Hi Ty! How's everything?
Well I’m doing fine. I tell you I can truly say that I have been blessed.

When did you first start writing plays?
I was around 21 when I wrote my first play (No greater love)

How does someone become a playwright?
Well I would say they have to have a desire to write and tell stories. They must know God has given them the gift of writing.

What's the title of your latest play?
Our Latest play is entitled FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY

What is the biggest play you've done?
That is a hard one to answer but it would be between Lord Make Me Over and A grandmothers prayer but from the feed back we have getting from our up and coming play For The Love Of Money it might be this one.

Have you ever sold out a venue?
Yes we have sold out a few times in New Jersey and one time in Virginia.

When you first started, what obstacles did you face?
The very first one was getting over the fear of failing.
The second was not having enough money

What's different about what you do, from Tyler Perry?
Well for one Tyler is in a class right now by himself but the difference between him and Ty low is my plays are much more serious. He has a lot more comedy. Don’t get me wrong I can do funny but my previous plays were a lot more serious but this play FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY is by far the funniest play I have ever writtenJ

Where do you see your company, Ty Low productions in 5 years?
Five years from now I see us on tour all over the world. I see me writing sitcoms for television. I see Ty Low productions having their own theater  to help other production companies that are just starting out to help the aid them to bring their production to life

What's your personal motto for success?
My motto would be
What ever I do I going to do with all my might.
I can do all things through Christ!

Any shout outs you'd like to give? To my wife Taqualla my kids all five of them lol…. My family. My Pastor D.C. Andrewsz and Hiz Lady Andrewz
My church family and my cast from the play.

Thanks for the interview!
Thanks again for this interview to I pray I will be up here again
