Why be surprised by Gov. Perry's comments...

...he's a secessionist

The media is all a buzz about the latest comments from Gov. Perry about Ben Bernake, but whey are we? Perry is a secessionist. Read that story here. Here's Perry's seccession comment.

"There's a lot of different scenarios," Perry said. "We've got a great union. There's absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that? But Texas is a very unique place, and we're a pretty independent lot to boot."

 The republican and tea party constituents seem to have forgotten that this is the same man who wanted Texas to become a seperate soverign nation from the United States. Even uber conservative, Karl Rove, said this about Perry's statement:

 "You don't accuse the chairman of the federal reserve of being a traitor to his country. Of being guilty of treason," Karl Rove told Fox News Tuesday. "And, suggesting that we treat him pretty ugly in texas. You know, that is not, again a presidential statement."  

Here's what Perry said:

“If this guy prints more money between now and the election, I don’t know what you all would do to him in Iowa, but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas,” Perry said. “Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous—or treasonous in my opinion.”

Wow..are we in the Twilight Zone or something. This just goes to show you that Gov. Perry and the other tea party zealots are just playing a little to close to the edge of a game called insanity. It was only a matter of time before "the crazies" start to come out to play in the dismal GOP field. Who's next to the line-up.."Reload" Sarah Palin. Pathetic.
