Why are missing African-american children not important for the mainstream media?

The case of the missing white baby has all of the drama of the Lindbergh kidnapping incident almost a century ago. We hope that this baby is found, but at the same time what about all of the missing black children who are not getting any media attention? It seems like you have to be a certain complexion to get on tv if you're a missing child.

The sadness here is that this beautiful little girl should be found and not ignored. source
