This Tuesday, November 7th BET’s newest sitcom REED BETWEEN THE LINES premieres two new back to back episodes beginning at 10:00 pm*
Actor, Mel Jackson guest stars as Gabriella’s (Melissa DeSousa) new love interest, “James.” After reluctantly taking Ms. Helen’s (Anna Maria Horsford) advice regarding her love life, Gabriella seeks the attention of James, the water delivery guy. Unfortunately, that advice backfires and James becomes clingy.
REED BETWEEN THE LINES, BET Network’s new, original scripted comedy series, is a modern day love story that captures the complexity and hilarity of negotiating traditional African-American family values with contemporary ideas of open, honest communication between parents and children. Deeply in love, Alex (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) and Carla (Tracee Ellis Ross) Reed are an African American power couple trying to keep it sexy as they juggle kids (Nadji Jeter, Zoe Soul, Zoe Hendrix) and outspoken co-workers (Anna Maria Horsford and Melissa De Sousa).
Mel Jackson is most notable for his roles in the movies Soul Food and Deliver Us From Eva.
