British songstress V V Brown's second full length album, LOLLIPOPS & POLITICS is set for release on February 7, 2012 onCapitol/EMI. TOMORROW, fans can watch a live performance of "Children" on VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live". In other news, V V was recently cast in a Rankin produced film which will tour the international film festival circuit during 2012. Entitled"Will You Marry Me?", it's a fast-paced tragic comedy about a guy, Dillon, who enters a radio show competition to win a holiday for him and five friends. V V Brown appears as herself in the film as a guest on the radio show, alongside the DJ and the show's producer.
V V's first set of live dates since last summer launches tonight at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY and will see additional stops inWashington DC, Los Angeles and Seattle. (Full list of tour dates below)
