About Addicted to Dysfunction:
My book is a personal memoir that reflects my life from birth to the present. The reader is invited to take an in-dept look at my life’s dysfunction. In turn, the reader is able to take an inconspicuous analysis of their own life’s dysfunction.
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write Addicted to Dysfunction: Released to Live Life Out Loud?
Benita Tyler: I have always wanted to write a book. I needed a vehicle that would allow me to release my pain, and Addicted to Dysfunction gave me that vehicle.
JP: What sets Addicted to Dysfunction apart from other books in the same genre?
BT: Addicted to Dysfunction is unique in the fact that it is not only a memoir, but it also provides the reader with a practical road map for combating the harsh realities of life.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Addicted to Dysfunction getting out to the public?
BT: I have always had a unique ability to motivate and inspire others. God equipped me with a charismatic disposition that allows me to connect with individuals through my writings.
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Addicted to Dysfunction:?
BT: It took me about five months to actually write Addicted to Dysfunction. I enjoy pouring my thoughts out on a canvas and editing them later.
JP: What’s next for Benita Tyler?
BT: I have already started my next book, which is also a memoir. It is based on my husband’s alter ego “Salty Dog”, who is immersed in the urban motorcycle world.
