Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write “The Monday Night Mistress“? 

Pamela D. Rice: Events in the news inspired me to write this latest book. My books are geared towards social ills that people normally do not want to discuss.

JP: What sets "The Monday Night Mistress" apart from other books in the same genre?

PDR: From the feedback that I have received from others, my books are different because I am not afraid to be controversial. There is no box for me. (read more) 

JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to "The Monday Night Mistress" getting out to the public?

PDR: Social media is a must. You have to get online and interact with others. Don’t just bombard your pages (and everyone else’s) with constant promotion. Be yourself. Allow others to see who you are. (read more) 

JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish "The Monday Night Mistress"?

PDR: I don’t have a tried and true method. If I feel like writing, I write. I may write three thousand words at one sitting and write fifty at the next. (read more)
