Tsunami Watch Issued After Indian Ocean Quake

UPDATE: 6:30 p.m. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center cancels tsunami watch issued for five countries after a 7.6-magnitude Indian Ocean quake

An earthquake with 7.6 magnitude occured in the Indian Ocean. 12 minutes later, an earthquake registering at 6.4 on the Ricther Scale rocks Japan. The Tsunami watch covers
India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia and Bangladesh. Residents are on high alert and cautioned to take action as a tsunami could occur.
