Fort Bragg Soldier Found Unresponsive in Car Dies

U.S. Army officials aboard Fort Bragg are investigating the death of a Fort Bragg Paratrooper.
In a press release from Ft. Bragg officials, Private First Class William E. Long, age 24, a Paratrooper with 1st Battalion, 325 Airborne Infantry Regiment was found unresponsive in his vehicle in the town of Spring Lake Wednesday morning. He was transported to Cape Fear Regional Medical Center where he died the following day.
The soldier was a native of St. Louis, Missouri. No details on how or what the soldier died from were released and circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.
