'Rita Rocks' Actress Tisha Campbell-Martin (Gina from Martin) and her actor husband, Duane Martin welcomed a new baby this week!
The couple added another boy to their family: Ezekiel Czar Martin made his debut Tuesday morning in Los Angeles weighing exactly 9 pounds. He joins big brother Xen who is eight years old.
Proud mama, Tisha told People Magazine I'm enjoying it. I'm 40, and having a baby!" "Every moment, every nauseous moment, everything that is good and not so good about being pregnant, I'm enjoying."
Baby Ezekiel wasn't due until Sept. 21 but decided to come early. The eight year age difference between her sons was intentional due to the fact that their eldest son suffers with autism. "We waited for eight years before we had another child because [Xen] needed all of our attention," said Campbell-Martin during an interview with Essence Magazine. "We say all the time how we kicked autism in the behind because Xen is so amazing -- he's going to
a regular school and has friends of his own. He's a true blessing." She continued, "As much as Duane and I make light of his autism, it was not an easy fight, but we fought it. I've been praying for it and believe that it will be easier this time around. But regardless of the challenge, I believe God will never give me more than I can handle, and I find peace and comfort in knowing that."The Martins have been married for 12 years.
