A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Melanie Hall, whose bones were discovered next to the M5 13 years after her disappearance.The 37-year-old man walked into a police station in Stockport, and said he wanted to talk about the case. He is now being psychiatrically assessed.
The remains of Ms Hall's body were found in a bin bag next to the M5 near Bristol on Monday.
Ms Hall went missing from a nightclub in Bath in June 1996.
