Cops busted a Bronx man Sunday for stabbing a baby-faced boxer to death during a drunken fight on the upper East Side, police said.
Exequiel Reyes, 23, was charged with murder for allegedly plunging a knife into the chest of Omar Gasper, 19, early Saturday morning.
Gasper was drinking with friends in a vacant apartment on E. 75th St. when an argument inside the party escalated into violence at 4 a.m., Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.
"Apparently, there was a dispute in the apartment that [moved] down to the front of the building," Kelly said yesterday.
Gasper and a friend squared off against Reyes and another man outside the building. Reyes did not have an arrest record prior to Sunday's bust, police sources said.
