**EDITORS NOTE
DUE TO AN EDITORIAL ERROR, THIS STORY IS BEING REPRINTED***
Due to an error on the Doritos commercial news story, theblackurbantimes is reprinting the story to highlight the writer and director of the commercial. Below is the corrected version and an email from one of the actual writers:
As the Editor, I extend my sincerest apologies to Mr. Marthinus and Mr. Ayriss of Los Angelos.
For the record...
My name is Matt I am 25 years, living in Los Angeles working in the film industry and this commercial was written by myself and my director Marthinus. We wrote the commercial together and then I approached his commercial agent about doing the commercial for me two weeks ago and they agreed to do it. I just wanted to clear that up as FLAV did not write, produce or direct the commercial, he just appeared in it. NOTHING ELSE.
Flav was extremely generous for donating his time to help out two film students.
PLEASE CLEAR THIS UP ON YOUR SITE.
Flavor Flav going commerical as in Doritos Commercial. Apparently the former reality TV star of "Flavor of Love" fame is set to direct a TV commercial as part of Doritos' annual "Crash the Super Bowl" ad contest, in which users are asked to submit their own ads to compete for a $1 million prize.
A company source says, "He did this totally randomly and unprovoked, and it's actually pretty damn good."
