New York Yankees 2009 World Series Champs

The New York Yankees win the 2009 World Series beating the Philadelphia Phillies 7-3 in game six. Hideki Matsui is named the series MVP with his six rbi game. This series will be remembered for how Alex Rodriquez has fully came into his on. "Arod" known for his great regular seasons and for choking in the postseason had a breakout postseason and is a bonafide player. They went into the postseason with the best record since the All Star break and the best record in the MLB overall and end it winning the championship.
