The jazzy saxophone and percussion theme song is bound to take you back to that all-too-familiar moment -- Bill Cosby entering stage left jamming and grooving in one of his many colorful sweaters. It’s 'The Cosby Show,' the Emmy award-winning sitcom about an upper middle class African-American family from Brooklyn.
For eight years we invited Cliff, Claire and rest of the Huxtable gang into our living rooms, bemused by characters like precocious little sister Rudy, older brother Theo, and of course the effortless chemistry between Cliff and Claire (but we know who really wears the pants in this family).
'Cosby' has been deemed one of the greatest family sitcoms of all time in the years since its 1984 debut, but what are the Huxtables and the rest of the cast up to nowadays? See how far they’ve come - or haven’t - from the Cosby shadow since the show went off the air.
