Second Blackberry Outage Comes Days After First; RIM Still Investigating

For the second time in six days, Blackberry owners suffered yet another Internet/ email outage that began at approximately 6:00 pm (EST) and ended a little after 2:30 a.m.

No matter what cellular company you used, if you were a Blackberry owner, you were able to use the telephone portion of your Blackberry, but you had no cyber capabilities.
The outage seemed to affect Crack...I mean Blackberry users in South and North America.

Last night, Blackberry maker, Research In Motion, released a statement saying, "Technical teams are actively working to resolve the issue for those impacted. RIM apologizes for any inconvenience experienced by customers."

The initial outage last Thursday, which was fixed within hours, threw Blackberry users for a loop. Officials with Research In Motion say they are still investigating the cause of that outage.

Research in Motion is based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
