Country Singer Charlie Daniels Recovering From Stroke

Legendary country music star, Charlie Daniels suffered a mild stroke while snowmobiling last week in Colorado. The singer was treated at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, Colorado then airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Denver on Sunday. He has been vacationing in Colorado since late December. Daniel's is now recovering at home and has no plans to cancel any dates for his upcoming February 27 tour which is set to begin in Fort Pierce, Florida.

"The Devil Went Down to Georgia" singer is a strong supporter of American Troops in Iraq. Daniels, who has visited troops several times in Iraq, recorded album "Charlie Daniels Band" Live in Iraq during his fourth trip to the middle east in 2007.
Daniels and wife, Hazel have one son.
