The catsuit Jennifer Lopez wore in the last minutes of 2009 is already the talk of 2010.
The sparkly, body-hugging getup she donned to perform in Times Square left little to the imagination - unless you were wondering where her famous booty went.
Everyone from bloggers to Twitter addicts had an opinion about the bodysuit, which looked like it could have been swiped from Diana Ross's closet.
"It's kinda see-through," laughed Jason Ray, 24, a legal assistant from Hell's Kitchen. "But wow! I think she looks good after having twins!"
Bronx resident Jorge Reyes, 32, who works at 2 Bros. Pizza on Ninth Ave., gave out a wolf whistle after checking out a photo. "She looks stunning," he enthused. "Magnificent."
Others thought the outfit bunched and gathered too much during La Lopez's dance moves.
"There's too many wrinkles. It looks like elephant skin," said Alicia Lundgren, 24, a dancer visiting from Philadelphia.
skin-tight outfit which he wore during her New Year's Eve performance.
It was 10 years ago that Lopez made eyes pop when she wore that infamous navel-plunging Versace to the 2000 Grammys.
To close out the decade, the Bronx-born star started her set for "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" on ABC in a shaggy black fur coat she quickly shed to perform "Waiting for Tonight."
Underneath, the 41-year-old was wearing nothing but the spangled suit and glittering red-soled Louboutin heels.
Her strikingly slim figure was on full display. The costume appeared sheer under the bright lights and revealed her famous derriere has apparently shrunk. SEE BELOW
Host Ryan Seacrest said the ensemble "made my year," but not everyone was as kind.
One viewer Tweeted that the outfit "made her look like some kind of weird naked barbie doll." A blogger asked: "Did she get butt surgery?"
Andrea Kleinman, 43, who runs a dog-sitting business in Hell's Kitchen, said she wouldn't be surprised to see someone rocking Lopez's look on city sidewalks. "In this neighborhood, possibly," she said. "You just never know."
Would she wear it?
"Hell no!" she exclaimed. "Maybe when I was 20." SOURCE
