Jacque Reid the beautiful news anchor we all have come to know via The BET Nightly News (2001-2005) is now co-starring (if you will) on VH1's reality show "Let's Talk About Pep."
Reid, who's biological clock is chiming louder than Big Ben's, is on a mission to find her Mr. Right and updates pals Pep, Kittie and Joumana on her dates/interviews weekly. It's rare we get to see Reid in any other light except her professional, poised one, but on "Pep," she lets loose and shows us her light, funny side.
Reid began her journalism career as an anchor/reporter for WBSG-TV in Brunswick, Georgia then CBS affiliate WKYT-TV in Lexington, Kentucky and finally as a morning anchor at CNN Headline News. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in print journalism from Clark Atlanta University and a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University.
Jacque has made a name for herself on the news circuit, but she is also a radio correspondent who has interviewed political figures like President Bill Clinton and President Barack Obama.
Reid is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Sister. In addition to her role as a journalist, Reid is also an avid public speaker.
