Longtime "Sesame Street" actress, Loretta Long is recovering from injuries she sustained after she was struck by a car this week.
Long, who plays Susan Robinson, Mr. Gordon's wife and Miles' mother on "Sesame Street" was walking to the Rite-Aid when she was struck on Route 130 in East Windsor Township near the strip mall. She was listed in fair condition after being treated for a fractured leg and head trauma at Capital Health-Fuld hospital in Trenton.
Long, 71, has been with Sesame Street since its 1969 debut. She has starred in a number of television shows including Guys and Dolls and holds a doctoral degree from the University of Massachusetts.
