U.S. officials have targeted American-born Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki for capture:
Dead or Alive.
"We would be remiss if we didn't find ways to pursue someone who is a serious threat to this country and has plotted against Americans," the official told CNN.COM

Officials believe Al-Awlaki, is hiding in Yemen. Authorities say he called for jihad last month against the United States in an audio message that basically said, "America is evil."

A search of over a dozen computers turned up sermons and recording allegedly made by Al-Awlaki. The computers belonged to individuals the U.S. believes are terrorist suspects in the U.S. and Britain.
Al-Awlaki has admitted to having communication with U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Hassan, the Army psychiatrist accsued of shooting 13 people to death aboard Fort Hood Army base in November.
