NYPD Find Man Shot to Death in Bronx Elevator
The NYPD says they have no suspect(s) in custody in relation to the death of a man found shot to death in the elevator a Bronx apartment building. Officers responding to a 911 call found the man in the elevator on the first floor. He had been shot multiple times.

NYPD Officer Injured Serving Warrant in Bronx
One NYPD officer suffered minor injuries and a suspect was fatally shot when officers serving a search warrant for guns and drugs came fact-to-face with a man armed with a 9mm high point firearm.
Police served the search warrant at about 9:15 a.m. when the suspect pulled out a gun in the back of the building. Officers fired, hitting the man once in the leg and abdomen.

Man Killed on Bronx Parkway, Driver Charged
A 2001 Saturn hit a guardrail before slamming into a tree on the Hutchinson River Parkway in The Bronx killing the male passenger and injuring the driver, 29-year-old Maria Lara shortly after midnight near the Orchard Beach exit.

Lara was charged with manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated after she was transported to Jacobi Hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

The male victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene.
