From sea to shining sea, as the song goes, Americans are celebrating Independence Day in a variety of ways Sunday, from the traditional barbecue to a decades-old hot dog eating contest at New York's Coney Island. There will be fireworks, of course, after the sun goes down, and a patriotic dose of music, too.
