The man facing murder charges for the deaths of two Americans in Panama is a North Carolinian wanted by the Wilmington police department for selling a home he didn't own.

Authorities say the life of William Dathan Holbert, who is featured on the "America's Most Wanted" web site, seemed to nose dive after 2004 following his separation from his wife. Holbert also has another warrant out for his arrest out of Polk County for failure to pay child support.

On July 30, Holbert and his new wife were arrested in Nicaragua, and deported to Panama, to face charges of killing two Americans.
