Signs of New Life at Ground Zero


Trees Are Growing in Manhattan

It's been almost nine years since the attack on the World Trade Center claimed thousands of lives. Today, new life is on the horizon at Ground Zero in a tangible way as crews began planting 16 swamp white oaks at the site of one of the most horrific tragedies to occur on American soil.
These are the first of nearly 400 trees to be planted around the eight-acre memorial...
