Former Seton Hall Hoop Star Pleads Guilty, Facing 3 Years in Prison

Former Seton Hall basketball player, Kelly Whitney pleaded guilty Monday to charges stemming from a 2010 arrest in connection with a home invasion and burglary in South Orange.
According to a press release from the Essex County Prosecutors Office, the 6-foot-8 Chicago native and prosecutors reached a plea agreement that says Whitney will be sentenced under the No Early Release Act, which means he must serve 85 percent of his sentence, 3 years, before parole eligibility is an option....MORE
