Young Dro to Release New Album

Young Dro - Racked Up (Dirty) by eOne Music


Young Dro announces the release of his new album, P.O.L.O. (Players Only Live Once), set to hit stores in Winter 2011 on Grand Hustle/eOne/Atlantic Records. Dro's newest single, "Racked Up" was released this week on DJ Smallz' new mixtape, Southern Smoke Radio Vol. 5, the mixtape series inspired by DJ Smallz' two hour, weekly, southern hip hop mixshow, and is at urban radio now.

About his much anticipated, forthcoming album, Dro states, "It's been a long time coming, and I had to really get focused. We were releasing my album in 2008, but the album leaked and that took a lot out of me. I stayed busy with mixtapes, club shows across the U.S. and the Grind N Hustle tour. We decided to sit down with Atlantic Records and do a venture with eOne Music and here we are.... Racked up!"

Alan Grunblatt, President of eOne Music, adds, "We're thrilled to be working again with Grand Hustle. We've had great success with the partnership in the past, and we expect big things with Young Dro."

His debut album, "Best Thang Smokin'," was released on Grand Hustle/Atlantic and skyrocketed to #1 on the Billboard Rap and R&B Charts, and #3 on the Billboard Top 200. The album was propelled by the hit "Shoulder Lean" feat T.I., which received heavy radio and video airplay, and was nominated for three BET Hip Hop Awards, winning the BET Mobile Hot Ring Award.
