Music: K'Jon-"Will You Be There"


An on-the-come-up singer from Detroit name, K'Jon has blessed the people with a visual for his hit-"Will You Be There". This is the first single off his upcoming album entitled, Moving On.
The single utilizes a flute and acoustic guitar over a throbbing bass line, K'Jon delivers a man's passionate plea for support from his wife as he struggles, something all too many people can relate to in the current economic environment. The song’s controversial video shows just how far a desperate man can go.

K'Jon is signed to Shanachie Records. A native of Detroit, K'Jon is a supporter of local talent.."When it comes to Detroit talent," K'Jon notes, " I am a big supporter, as indicated on my last few projects. I represent Detroit to the fullest.” He has used his success to convey a message: "never give up on your dreams!" He regularly participates in community initiatives such as the B.M.E. (Black Male Engagement), which identifies, connects, celebrates and empowers men and boys as well as supporting their efforts to strengthen their communities. He is also in the planning stages of creating his own foundation. He loves children and plans to have an after-school program that will aid youths academically, morally and physically. In short, K'Jon embodies the highest role of musical artist--one who is a part of his community, celebrates it, inspires it and empowers it. He is much more than an entertainer.
