Oklahoma Shooting Target Blacks

AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted? With the murder of Trayvon Martin just over a month ago, the public now witness a racially charged killing spree.

In the wee-hours of April 6 (Good Friday) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, two white men named Jake England, 19 and Alvin Watts, 32, shot 5 African-American victims. Three of the five African Americans were killed and two were wounded but they will survive. The two gunmen drove up towards each victim to ask them for directions and when the victims walked away, that's when the two gunmen shot at each of them. 

This incident is deemed a hate crime in the eyes of the public because before the shooting England wrote on his facebook page “Today is two years that my dad has been gone shot by a fucking nigger it's hard not to go off between that and sheran I'm gone in the head.”  Watts (England's roommate) commented on England's post with, “I kno i miss them 2. My last meomeries were great ones of them. Its nt goodbye its c u later.” England's father was shot and killed by an African American man during an argument two years ago. Also the neighborhood the two gunmen went to is predominately populated with African-Americans. The two gunmen are currently in custody and they each have a $9.1 million dollar bail.

This event has caused an uproar in the black communities across the United States. Since it's right on the heels of the Trayvon  Martin situation and the US Army SGT. killing spree in Afghanistan, the country is having some serious racial tensions between whites and non-whites. Let's add on the fact that this event occurred on Easter weekend (re-birth of Jesus) and in the middle of an election year for our black president, Barack Obama. 

In the latest update authority figures are having trouble with deciding whether this case is considered a hate crime. Similar to the Trayvon Martin (non) case, authority figures don't know whether they should charge Zimmerman with the murder of Martin. With all the evidence in the world, the system seems to fall apart or move slowly when it comes to the aide for African-American justice.
