With the speculation that Kandi Buruss of RHOA maybe starting to sing gospel songs it brings up the topic of is this real? Gospel music has a very long and rich legacy from Mahalia Jackson to Yolanda Adams. These singers not only lived and breathed gospel music, but live by the word as well.
No one is saying that Kandi isn't talented..that's not the issue we have with her. The issue is that she's doing gospel music in order to capitalize on a popular genre of music without being fully vested in the "gospel lifestyle".
It also does a grave injustice to those artists who are truly uplifting others by living their life through "God's eyes" without walking through the path of secular behavior.
