Memphis police say they have not closed their investigation, but Robinson is not receiving media attention over the murder investigation.
This time, she's being accused of squandering the $1 million insurance monies Wright left for his children. All State Insurance paid Robinson for the policy in September 2011. Her spending reports indicate she began spending lavishly within 30 days after receiving the money.
Wright's father, Herb Wright says Robinson quickly blew through his son's insurance money in 10 months and he wants to know how and why.
During the Wright's divorce proceedings in 2010, court documents say Robinson demanded a Permanent Parenting Plan, which required Wright to take out a $1 million life insurance policy for the "benefit of their children" in the event of his death.
Their divorce was finalized the following month. Wright's bullet riddled, decomposed body was found in a wooded area of southeast Memphis five months later.
After a spending report was released to the court in September 2012, Shelby County Probate Judge Robert S. Benham began an investigation into the living circumstances of Wright's children.
Herb Wright and his attorney, Ruby Wharton, jumped into action with Wharton saying Robinson had no right to spend the life insurance proceeds as she has and they are concerned for the children.
Judge Benham also re-directed $184,000 in death benefits the NBA pays out to the Wright children and placed it under the control of Herb Wright for the benefit of the six kids - but froze the assets for the duration of the legal fight, the Daily Mail reported.
Robinson and her attorney fired back stating Herb Wright has no right or experience handling financial affairs and that he was fired by his son after misappropriating monies and mishandling Lorenzen Wright's finances.
Robinson denies she is almost broke and filed court documents stating that she has approximately $1.4 million in assets, which include investment properties in Arkansas and the 5,300 square foot home purchase in June 2012, which is titled in a trust fund for the former couples six children.
Before Wright was murdered, a Memphis judge ordered him to pay $16,650 a month in child support and an additional $10,000 a month in alimony, totaling $319,000 annually.
According to his former wife, at the time of his death, Wright was making token efforts towards paying the court ordered payments and she had very little to support herself and the children.
The Memphis Commercial Appeal released a breakdown of how the insurance money was spent:
Robinson alleges that she spent:
$339,000 for home improvements and repairs
$180,000 for property expenses
$69,000 on furniture
$34,000 for attorneys
$32,000 for a Cadillac Escalade
$26,000 for a Lexus
$11,750 for a trip to New York
$5,000 for lawn equipment
$7,100 for a deposit on a swimming pool
$2,273 for spring clothing for daughters
$2,000 for Lorenzen Jr. Birthday party and gifts
$277 for dinner and a movie
As for the Lexus and Escalade, Wright's family wonders which one of the children needed or wanted the luxury vehicles and wants clarity on the other items Robinson made vague reference to in court documents.
During the early part of Wright's murder investigation, police honed in on Robinson after neighbors told them that the divorcee was seen lighting her fire pit in her Collierville home backyard on July 19 -- the night Wright disappeared --. The neighbor thought it was odd because the evening of July 19 "was like the hottest night of the summer."
Police searched Robinson's home but never reported finding evidence that linked the woman to her former husband's death. Robinson told investigators that on the last night she saw her former husband, he left her home carrying a box of drugs. Wright's family says they do not believe he was into selling drugs.
