Former Detroit Mayor, Kwame 'Ya'll's Boy' Kilpatrick received, yet another nail in his proverbial coffin, after a Michigan jury convicted him on Federal charges stemming from his racketeering trial.
CNN affiliate WDIV-TV reported that Kilpatrick was "found guilty on most of the federal charges" he faced, including racketeering conspiracy, extortion and filing false tax returns.
Kilpatrick could face up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced. Neither Kilpatrick or city contractor, Bobby Ferguson got to collect any more monies in their game of Monopoly. Immediatelly following the jury's decison today, Judge Nancy Edmunds remanded both men to a Federal Detention Center until sentencing.
"Detention is required in this circumstance," Edmunds said after her ruling.
