Newark prosecutors celebrated a victory following the conviction of Raheem Cleveland in the 2011 gang-related shooting that left a woman seriously injured and her boyfriend dead.
Cleveland's three-day trial culminated with the Essex County jury convicting him of murder, attempted murder and related weapons offenses after a day and a half of deliberation, said Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray.
