Erykah Badu Gave Birth To A Baby Girl

Erykah Badu gave birth to a healthy baby girl Sunday night, and the child’s father, rapper and producer Jay Electronica, kept everyone updated on the process through Twitter. "My first child, my daughter, was born at 1:30 p.m. exactly,” Electronica wrote. “It's the happiest day of my life.”

Badu was in labor for five hours, and had a natural delivery at home with no painkillers. "Getting closer. She says she feels like she's ready to push," Electronica updated. "I see the head. Full of hair.” "I can't believe it's over," Badu wrote.

Badu said the baby’s name is “Twitty Milk.” This is Badu’s third child. The singer also has a child with rappers Andre 3000, and The D.O.C. This is Jay Electronica’s first child.
