Synopsis: The Spy Next Door is produced by Robert Simonds and Ryan Kavanaugh.

The action/comedy flick stars Jackie Chan as Bob Ho, an undercover super-spy for the CIA.
Ho begins loathing his surreptitious spy lifestyle and is leaning towards settling down with his girlfriend, Gillian (Amber Valletta), who lives next-door to Ho.

Sounds innocuous enough, right? Hardly. Settling down with the woman you love is simple. Winning the hearts and respect of her three overly opinionated children can prove to be tougher than any CIA assignment Ho ever had.

In an attempt to score super-boyfriend points with his girlfriend and her children, Ho volunteers to babysit the little guys while Gillian goes out of town. All goes well until one of the kiddies accidentally downloads a top-secret formula from Ho's computer which brings about a visit from a scourge in Ho's past, a Russian terrorist, forcing Ho to try and juggle Quaker oats, chocolate chip cookies and PTA duty while trying counteract the dastardly doings of a terrorist.

Noted actor and martial arts star Jackie Chan is joined by a talented supporting cast featuring Amber Valletta (Transporter 2, HITCH), George Lopez (Comedian, "George Lopez"), Billy Ray Cyrus ("Hannah Montana") and Madeline Carroll (Swing vote) to name a few.

This film is aptly directed by Brian Levent of "Are we there yet" and "The Flintstones" fame.

Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan begin filming 'Kung Fu Kid' in Beijing

Will Smith and his son, Jaden are in Beijing, China as filming for the 1984 remake "Karate Kid" begins. Jaden Smith will play the part of Chan's young karate disciple in the remake titled "Kung Fu Kid." Many of us remember the first "Karate Kid" movie with Pat Morita (Happy Days) who played the part of handyman Mr. Miyagi who trains a young boy (Ralph Maccio) into an accomplished fighter.

The film is being directed by Harald Zwart and dad, Will Smith (Overbrook Entertainment) is one of the film's producers. "Kung Fu Kid" is set in modern-day Beijing and shooting should last approximately three months. Jaden Smith's silver screen credits include the 2006 movie "The Pursuit of Happyness" in which he costarred with his father and the 2008 Keanu Reeves sci-fi movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still."
