Usher and his big heart

Notorious mama's boy Usher admits that it's not just his mother's disapproval that brings him to tears. He's also a sucker for the ABC tearjerker "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

He did a guest turn on tonight's episode, helping to build a home for the family of a Tennessee woman whose cop husband was killed in the line of duty.

"I can't say I'm a crier every time I watch," Usher told Fancast's Todd Gold. "But, this time, I cried. They got me on camera crying. I couldn't help it."

Usher's Wife Injured After Plastic Surgery in Brazil

Usher’s wife Tameka Foster Raymond has suffered a serious injury due to complications from plastic surgery in Brazil, according to reports.

On Saturday night, Usher canceled his performance the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Gala. Davis told party-goers the singer had to bow out due to a “serious injury in the family.”


The couple have been married since August 2007 and have had two children together. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
Reps for Usher declined to comment or elaborate on the sad news, but a source close to the 30-year-old denies rumors that his wife, Tameka Foster, 37, had died following plastic surgery. Access Hollywood does report, however, that Foster did suffer complications from a cosmetic procedure in Brazil.
On Friday, there were also reports that Usher’s label saw Foster a distraction to the the singer and his career. Those rumors, however, have been denied.
The couple have been married since August 2007 and have two children. Foster formerly worked as Usher’s stylist

Christmas has come early for R&B singer Usher and wife Tameka, who welcomed a new son into the world on Wednesday, December 10 at 2:23a.m. Naviyd Ely Raymond, who was born weighing 5lbs and 13oz. is the second child for the couple. Their first son Usher Raymond V was born last November.Usher was by his wife's side during the delivery and a rep for the singer says that both Tameka and the baby are doing fine.
