Busta Rhymes Former Bodyguard DNA Ordered

Sunday, July 26, 2009

Busta Rhymes is back.

I love Busta!
He's had some underground mini-hits, but this little club banger is just in time to get the summer asses right out of their booty-short housing. It's one of those songs that starts playing when you're at the bar and you have to contemplate whether to run to the dance floor or order that second Kettle soda.
Take a look at his new single "World Go Round" featuring the adorable, pixie vocal stylings of UK's Estelle.

Busta Rhymes Introduces 'The Conglomerate'

Last night I attended Busta Rhymes in concert at B.B. King's here in Manhattan. First off let me just say this - never will I again attend a hood concert! When I say there was enough haze in the room to just get high off of a contact and mad females getting into brawls over trying to p***y pop on the next chick's d**k... yo' it went down up in there! But besides the side shows, the main event - Busta Rhymes did his thing! Busta introduced what he said was 'The Conglomerate' of New York Hip-Hop artists bringing the rap game back to the NYC. I guess that was his way of saying that it's time to shut the south down. This 'Conglomerate' who also performed last night included Maino, Uncle Murder, and Redd Cafe. Also in the building last night was Ron Browz, Juelz Santana... and all the way from Jamaica Beenie Man. NYC represented our own last night! Here's a clip I took on my camera phone, but I'm sure for more all you have to do is hit up YouTube! A special shout out to 'Ms. Alexander' for the concert hook up! And a shout out to the Spanish mami who beat the shit out the hood rat from Brooklyn who was bumpin' her gums and trying to get up on mami's dude! Yo... and security walked past the fight like it was nothing! Lolz...

Rumor About Busta Being Gay

Hiding in Hip Hop is a book based on a young man who has had romps with men in the industry. The men in the industry being discussed are men that we would never think to be gay, which is why this book is getting soo much attention. This book sort of reminds me of Superhead's book with the exception that this is a man telling the story. Well the big fuss of the day is that Deelishis had some questions about a rapper she was dating and chose to ask Terrance Dean (author of Hiding in Hip Hop) some questions about that particular person she was dating. Here's how that went:

“Okay, you know I used to date someone in the business, right?” She looks me in my eyes with her gorgeous smile.

I am definitely attracted to her. There is something about Deelishus that makes you feel welcoming. She is really beautiful with soft feminine features and a dynamic smile.

“Well, who are you talking about?” I asked already knowing who she was referring to. I really wanted her to say his name.

“He is a rapper,” she says coyly.

I get that she is not going to say his name. So I try a different approach.

“Did he used to have long hair?”

She thinks for a moment and then looks at me shocked. She nods her head and says, “Yeah.”

“What do you want to know?” I ask.

“I mean, do you know anything. I heard…” her voice trails off and she looks at me for some indication or confirmation.

“I know some things.”

“Oh my gosh!” Deelishus squeals. She puts her hand over her mouth.

“It’s no secret. We all know.”

“No, no, no,” She continues to squeal and backs away from me. She starts laughing. “Are you serious?”

But, before we could continue, one of the hosts of the party jumps between us to get his photo op on. Then a crowd swells around us. She keeps looking over at me and saying, “Terrance, we have to talk. Seriously we have to talk.”

I smiled at her and told her, “Yeah, we do.” I know she has some things she wants to share with me as well.

Have you guessed who they were chit chatting about? Well take a look at the pic below:
