Wrigley says it's suspending ad campaigns featuring Chris Brown as its spokesman for Doublemint gum.
The company stopped short of saying they will drop the troubled R&B star completely.
A company statement expresses concern about what it calls "serious allegations made against Chris Brown." He was arrested Sunday night for an alleged battery on a woman, and canceled his Grammy performance.

Wrigely said it would suspend any current advertising or any related marketing until the situation is resolved, adding that the 19-year-old should be "afforded the same due process as any citizen."

  1. If all that has been reported is true, Mr. Brown will have certainly earned himself the title of official dumb ass of the year.

You're sitting on top of the world, making mnoey; been nominated for a prestigious award and all you see fit to do is allegedly assault a woman physically...twice. Yes, twice.

If it is true that Chris "McNasty" Brown assaulted this woman after an argument over Herpes and her having been infected by him, then he deserves whatever he gets.

Harsh? Yes, but his conduct (if he, in fact did it) reprehensible. FOr anyone to knowingly engage in sexual intercourse with someone and not disclose the fact that they have an incurable STD is sick.

In the U.S. they have no law that says that such behavior is punishable by crimminal prosecution, but in Colombia, a woman's brothers or father would administer Calle justice and send him back to his mother, shamed amongst other things.

For anyone, a man or woman, to do this demonstrates their severe lack of integrity or the rights of others.

Until the American justice systems deals with people like this, the problem will only get worse before it gets anywhere near better.

Safeguard your health by demanding that a potential partner be tested with you PRIOR to any intercourse.

Yes, condoms and dental dam are great but neither of these are 100 percent fool proof.

Protect yourself and either abstain or get tested first and make sure your faithful as is your partner.

Be safe and treat others as you want to be treated.

    Good post!
