American Students in Panama Found

Panama City officials were on high alert after two American women, estudiantes at the University of Panama were reported missing. Jessica Tierney, 21 and Taylor Hook, 20 were last seen on August 12 at approximately 5:00 a.m. Their travel plans had them riding la autobús de San José, Costa Rica (Quepos) to Panama City, Panama. They were allegedly in la compania of two men: Elías González y Héctor González. The young women have now been found safe in Costa Rica. No word on what happened and why they failed to reach their destination in Panama City, Panama. Officials with the American Embassy in Panama City were involved in locating the missing women.
