Two Newark men were taken into custody early this morning after police recovered $15,000 worth of narcotics, $2,400 in drug proceeds, and a 9mm handgun from one of the suspect's home at Irvine Turner Boulevard, authorities said.Desmond Pittman, 27, and Sharif Patterson, 20, are facing multiple drug and weapons charges after the 6 a.m. raid at 604 Irvine Turner Boulevard, said Detective Todd McClendon, city police spokesman.
