Salt N Pepa Fills Wendy Williams' Radio Slot
Wendy Williams may be leaving radio to pursue her television show full time but Salt N Pepa will take her place. The iconic rap duo will fill the 2-6pm slot on WBLS, playing hit songs and discussing the hottest topics from men to motherhood according to Essence.com.
Here I was, sad because there was going to be no more Salt N Pepa show on Vh1, but now they're going to be on the radio (hi five!). It's not quite the same as TV, but I'll settle for the airwaves. I love Salt and Pepa so I'm happy. They're like the hip-hop Laverne and Shirley so it's going to be interesting hearing them muse about life and possibly argue, which is always comical.
I don't know when they'll officially be on air, but I'll keep you posted.
