Poet's Corner Presents: "Eating Good"

My heroine of content
Fail me not tonight,
For Luna’s sights are set
To have the beast tamed.
I use tricks to entrap
That sweet creature of pale meat,
Tender and pink with juices
Dripping.
Moist to the touch
Is her succulent fillet.
She tastes of honey,
Yet smells of melons.
With my taste buds ripped
From my tongue, I still leave
The table hungry.
